As you mentioned in your post, I don't think there are too many people in the US that can say that for this year. Even though we had fewer birds on this day, they were outstanding birds, and I think it was probably my favorite day of the four.

ThanksGordonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13931448617460317916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8839911151137989573.post-66312052897969817732016-02-08T07:47:15.375-07:002016-02-08T07:47:15.375-07:00Nice post, Gordon! The hoar frost was awesome and I like the images you captured of it. About a week or two before we left, I thought I had lost my mind travelling to the cold weather, remembering that I relocated to AZ to get away from the frigid winters. But reality kicks in and a little bit of knowledge told me I had to go there to see some of these amazing birds. Luckily it was only 4 days and was not nearly as bad as it could have been, such as sub-zero temps.Gordonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13931448617460317916noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8839911151137989573.post-90400033682009630092016-02-07T18:39:57.668-07:002016-02-07T18:39:57.668-07:00What an amazing trip Gordon! What an amazing trip Gordon!Scott Christopherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03438935846798613553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8839911151137989573.post-50198050871760552272016-02-07T16:09:29.943-07:002016-02-07T16:09:29.943-07:00The Hoarfrost really added to the setting. So glad you got to experience not only Hawk Owls and Hoarfrost, but Hawk Owls in the Hoarfrost.
